Access the Siphon Draw #53 trail from the Lost Dutchman State Park or the First Water Road to avoid the entrance fee. Ascend the SD #53 trail for about a mile, then right (south) across the drainage. This split is before reaching the large boulders at the Crying Dinosaur approach fork.
